The perfect cure for a dark december day.

OOOOH !!!!!!
Lovely fotos with interesting spotlight!
I love the flower and the plant too! Very fine old hybrid ..

That's a gorgeous display !!! Congratulations !!!! Love the two tone flowers and the amount. :)

This is a beautiful plant and wonderful photography. That first photo seems to have caught the exact moment when they all turned their faces to look at something. Very cool photo.

Doramatic display

Good photos, and great growing, well done!

Where did you get that one from? Hard to find those oldies with a name tag on.

Thank you. Bought it in a flower shop here in Sweden a few years ago. Usually I don't like the complex group, but this one looked to good to ignore :)

I wouldn't call this Paph a member of the complex group. The shape of its flowers is still open and not as close and round as the shape of complex ones. If I investigated and followed the breeding line backwards properly its a hybrid of
Paph. insigne (44,5 %)
Paph. spicerianum (33,3 %) and
Paph. villosum (22,2 %).
The nomenclature dosn't allow the listing of album varieties so there's no hint if they were used.
Last but not least its a wonderful grown plant with beautiful flowers.

Best regards from Germany, rudolf
