I still haven't determined exactly which one it is : Guacamole (glaucophyllum x malipo) ou Envy Green (primulinum x malipo) . Any idea ?

I honestly do not know which hybrid this is, but believe I really love it... The upper green petal makes my saliva drip...:drool::drool: The flower is spectacular...!!!!!!!

The width and shape of the petals is better than any Envy Green I've seen. I would have guessed it was a good Guacamole even without being given the choice, but there must be other malipoense/cochlo combinations out there as possibilities too. Whatever it is, if it needs a new home you can send it to me...

Actually it looks a lot like (Deperle x malipoense) if that is a possibility. Otherwise I would vote for Envy Green. Most of my Envy Greens had lousy form, but a couple have been shaped a lot like yours. PLant size might be a clue - small plant = Envy Green.

Be content with a noname as you'll never know for certain. I just bought an Envy Green this week and it looks nothing like the photo. And I don't think it's Guacamole either.

Edit: And it looks possibly like a jackii cross rather than a malipoense IMO.

I vote for Envy Green.
I've got to admit I don't grow it but I state it as a very special Envy Green by all the images I've seen on the net by now.
The green colour of the dorsal is stunning no matter if in natural or flash light.
Best regard from Germany, GuRu

Jeez you guys...let's just all agree that it looks like a noname. I've got both and it doesn't look like either.:rollhappy:

Alice Barrios (Norito Hasegawa X prim)??? Windy Hill had a run of these that the first would be BS about now.

~ Envygreen, primulinum sub. littii used. Had one just done w/ 5 flowers (often called prim. purpurascence, haven't seen a prim. purpurascese more than 10 years; no color undrleaves w/ lower spike, 3 > 4" to first flower, much 20 > 30% larger than littii). :rollhappy:
