Very nice plant and flowers!

Due to the shape of the staminode shield (maybe also its slight reddish colouring) and the only very small 'warts' on the petals I would definately vote for P. wilhelminae.

I personally would be very carefull in placing too much emphasis on flower size in determining a plant, as this is a most varieable feature in so many paphs!

Thanks all!

Hi John, the whole glanduliferum complex is confusing to me. These wilhelminae plants (including the one that you bought from me) that I got where small blooming size plants initially. About 6" and they were blooming. The leaves just got bigger and bigger as I grow them. I suspect the lighting has something to do with it. I like beautiful green leaves so I try to grow them in low light. Perhaps they increase surface size to catch more light?

Well, it's a VERY beautiful flower! I know what you mean about culture changing the size of a plant. My first blooming of my palawanense was on a 9 growth plant in a 3" pot and there was room for about another 9 growths! Then, I repotted and divided it and after that the growths all matured at about 4 times the original size! The colour of your flowers is a lot more honey coloured than what I think of as being wilhelminiae; but, I haven't seen more than just a handful of different clones......so, my opinion doesn't count for much. I really like this variation!

Stunning.

I agree. Wilhelminiae for me too.
