Before I saw the photo, I was anticipating a really nice flower but with a regrettable lip, since that's how I feel about the vast majority of philippinense hybrids.

This was a total surprise and a great one! Really great outcome and I can see why it got an AM. Stunning bloom with incredibly attractive lip coloration.

I think this was awarded in 1987 or 1988. Compared with todays breeding idk if it score that high
