Hot Spots = henry x Red Glory, in this case a vini.

Love the color, if it only had more of henry's spots! It's quite compact & an easy grower, 5 growths in a 2.5"pot.

henry x barbatas (Maudiae types) typically make this sort of flower. I like them, and yours is no exception.

I have this one but it is such a slow grower I'll be 6 feet under before it blooms. Something to look forward too.
How are you growing it? It's in a med/shady light near my henrys & charlies. This one is from Bloomfield's. I saw a couple of pics of a coloratum & they both had nice spots, I thought a vini could be really neat if it had those same spots!

WOW!!! Rose that looks great, I guess another one for the list, thanks.

Mine is growing with the rest of my paphs...the others do fine but Hot Spots just sits there...only one new leaf after a full year!

Looking at the vini form, it looks similar to my so-called Diana Ward X Maudiae (Diana's Winter Day) which I'm convinced is actually a henryanum hybrid based on the 4 growths with only 3" leaves, in a 2.5" pot.

Very nice Rose...I too have this cross
I find it a very easy bloomer...
Mine is a bit different in color and markings
Yes yours would be from a coloratum Red Glory.

When I backlit mine to photograph, the colors in the dorsal looked like yours, but in normal light my picture posted is pretty true to the actual colors.
