Flower looks big on a small plant, would expect improvement on next blooming. Most of this cross that I've seen definitely plant wise took after the St. Swithin parent.

It'd be nice if you could post photos directly in the thread, rather than post a link to a photo hosting site. Dial-up Internet users have to wait forever for a photo hosting site to open so that they can see the flower you're trying to show off.

I wish that I knew how to post it direct from my Camera/computer to the ST thread. Even this method took me a few days with the help from a few people in this forum. If you know how please let me know how and advise me step by step, as I am not a computer expert at all. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, Howzat. I hadn't realized that you were unaware of how to post into the thread because initially, it is easier and quicker for them; but, it makes viewing their photo(s) a pain for other members with slow connections.

So:
You cannot post directly from your camera or computer. You need to post your photo to any other website on the web. A lot of people use a photo hosting site. I use Photobucket just like you. If you roll your mouse over the photo thumbnail on your photobucket page, a drop down menu will appear. Go to "Direct Link" and highlight the URL, right click on it and click "copy" from the drop down menu. Now the URL for that photo is on your computer's clipboard.

Now, go to your ST post and left-click to place your curser whereever you want the photo to appear in your text. Then, left-click on the little mountain icon at the top of the text box you are curently working in. Another box will open. Put your curser next to the "http://" and right click. A drop down menu will open. Left click on "paste". Then, click on "Okay". Now, the URL for the photo is imbedded in the text of your post. Now, when you post your reply (or a new thread; whatever the case may be), your photo will open up right in your post. This keeps your post simplified and requires less effort from other people who want to view your photos. For dial-up users, it takes a lot less time for just a photo to open up, than it takes for a whole Photobucket page with a photo to open up. Try it and see how you do. Please let me know if you have any troubles or any questions. Thanks!

Howard, I'm going to be cheeky and do it for you. TADA!

Hubert, thanks. That was not cheeky at all Hubert. But I still have to learn the trick described by John M.
By the way I made this cross about 8 years ago. Only had less than a flask. Previous attempts to mate this plant failed. So probably it is sterile. So is the Gloria Naugle, bought as seedling, which I have attempted a couple of times. This is the third flowering for both It's Doll and Gloria Naugle.
