:drool: Way too nice!
Exul with a henry colored pouch!

Great combi of the three species used!!! All of them are evident!!! WOW!!

Very interesting flower, I think it has the best qualities of both species, esp. like the dorsal!

Ross, what did you cross with them????

I crossed what I thought was a drab Mary Zdilla with niveum. Subsequent bloomings have shown more color.

I also have seedlings of Mary Zdilla and (chalesworthii x Mem. George A Benedict)

Just got a very few seedlings of Mary Zdilla x Jennifer Ann Hella. The one used was the flower on the right.

Another nice Zdilla. Mine is in Agonizingly low sheath right now. Based on previous years, it'll stay this way awhile longer before swelling the bud and pushing up the stem. Mine is also from OL, and bloomed Really nice and with dark colors after I bought it in bud, but has been disappointing the last couple years I've had it in TX. I've been able to grow cooler here in OK this summer/fall, so I'm hoping it blooms out darker again :)

I look forward to seeing the flower!:)

Thanks for clarifying about the finger...if you hadn't mentioned it, I would still be googling complex paph hybrids looking for that most unusual flower...

Back to reality - I love the colors on this cross - each flower part is unique, almost like someone came along and glued it together from totally different plants. Also, the habit of the plant to the left of the Mary Zdilla x Jennifer Ann Hella is just fantastic. I love dwarfed looking plants and that one is a trip! I'd grow it for the leaves alone. Lovely work!

Just to clarify, the dwarf plant is Paph Jennifer Ann Hella. It is the parent of seedlings make using Paph Mary Zdilla.

I love this! Interesting hybrid. Love the other photos too, it's always interesting to see what comes out of a new cross.
