This was bought while the first flower was unfurling because it had a much more saturated red pouch than its sibling (though the images don't show it). I unpotted it seeing how the root growth point was way above the media and found only like two viable roots. Hoping for a better bloom on its second try. Does anyone know if dorsal pinching improves with plant maturity or is it more genetic?

If the roots are poor, the pinching might be dehydration. Id cut the flowers.
