paph Solamba

Hi All,

does anyone has information or pics on paph Solamba made by Ratcliffe : it is an interesting hybrid between Hellas and the rare species wenworthianum.

Here is a picture of this hybrid.

But the Orchid Registrar says that it is the result of the cross between Paph. Hellas and Paph. violascens.

There was a specific article in The AOS Bulletin regarding this cross in the early 80's or so. It covered about a page and a half.

It is a beautiful bloom. The colors are quite lovely!
