Not the prettiest tigrinum, but a very reliable grower and bloomer.

I think it is nice, I have a few seedlings that I am trying to raise. Do you have any tips.

Nothing out of the ordinary. I grow it in the basement under florescent lights in a fine bark mix. Why I put it in bark instead of my usual CHC mix, I'm not sure. Probably because it was in a fine bark mix when I got it and it was doing well. I bought it as a full size division from Tom Kalina about 5 or 6 years ago.

Never met a tigrinum that I didn't like, it's one of my top 3 favourite species. Look like a really well grown plant and 3 flowers too, wow!

Nice plant and flowers!
I 've read somewhere (maybe here) that it need a dry winter to bloom.

Try again, Rick. It came up on my screen, now.
Ross,
I made a horrifying discovery this AM! This crazy hospital has, as of today, blocked any photos coming from Photobucket's websit! Their reasoning "it's a on line storage site" Photobucket doesn't allow rare pornagraphic material to be stored on their site and of course the hospital is trying to block any of that kind of activity with it's internet system. This really kinda burns me and I can't skirt a round it either. Other are not blocked, Flickr, Imageshack etc, but are probably next:mad:

I like the flower, Ross -- maybe not as many spots as some, but still quite nice.

Rick, it doesn't make sense that a hospital would block a site just because it's a storage site. Sounds like they are groping...

Any blooming tigrinum is nice. I'm waiting on a flask from Norito to give a bunch of them a try. I've killed 2 fully grown ones in my time of growing, so I thought I'd try flasklings (I'm not sure of the logic behind that, but I'm going to try anyway because I absolutely love them!)

Congrats Ross, I would be lucky if I had a reliably growing plant like yours. So far P. tigrinum hasn't been really lucky with me! Now I possess a young plant and it seems to grow - but I won't scare it and say it too loudly.

Best regards from Germany, rudolf

Looks ok to me too, I would happy to own it.

Just found out I am getting 4 seedlings later this year. Fingers Crossed!!!
