In flower again. Proving to be a pretty straight forward species to grow.

lovely colour.
growing tips?

I grow this one in a basket (14cm) lined with sphagnum moss and filled with 9-12 orchiata bark. I keep it on the bottom bench, so in relatively low light. The mix stays quite moist never drying out much.

Yet again: very beautiful.... and so well grown! Forming quite a clump (can you say that in english? Hope you get my drift!)

Kind regards, Jens ø

You sure can say that Jens. In fact, that is how I would say it. I find many of the barbata species can be difficult to clump, but not this one. I have also seen some photos of large specimen plants of this species. It seems to clump more redily than a lot of the other barbata species.

Whata beauty! I've killed every one of them. Now that I'm into baskets I need to give this species another try.
