I've had a venustum in bud for approximately three months. It's slowly
beginning to show a tiny bit of pouch color...finally. Are venustum normally
so slow? I have an Enlightened Wings right beside it and the bud is developing rather quickly. Perhaps hybrids develop faster than species?

I have only flowered my venstum once, and it was slow, but I think it was a humidity issue for me though, so I can't say (my wardii was also extremely slow, but this year, with higher humidity levels, it was much faster).
