(henryanum ‘Spot Master’ x tigrinum ‘Always-in-Bloom’)

I bought this plant back in late 2006 as a medium seedling and it has decided to present me with the first bloom.

I took the picture outside on a sunny day which brings out the colour, it doesn't look this colourful normally.

  I'd be quite happy with that!
Did you treat it like a henry or a tigrinum?

very nice... a gorgeous clon! :)

(I hope my plant survived... it came with rotten roots and slugs in the pot...)

Little of both I guess...

It seems fairly easy to grow, but it does seem to require annual repotting, or at least it does if you water and fertilize like I do. :rollhappy:

It gets bright indirect light from an eastern window, the room in definitely at least 10 degrees cooler in the winter, which seems to get things too bloom. It grows with the rest of my plants in the same location. Now that I think about it, it seems to like a little more water then some.

The flower is about 4" across.

Thanks!

Kavanaru, that's so sad. Hope it pulls through, they're so worth it.

WOW!!! That is one great looking bloom, now something else for the list, thanks....... Jim.

That's very nice, Barbara! I haven't seen one of these hybrids. Very rewarding.
