This one was labeled as Paph. Addicted Philip, but I think it is a Paph. Yang-Ji Apple (anitum x philippinense):

In-case you are wondering why the flowers are "fuzzy", that is because it is cotton-wood season here, so there is cotton-wood seed flying through the air everywhere and even coming into the greenhouse.

Looks incredible, Robert. I looked on the Internet and some Paph. Addicted Philip looked like this one. All the Paph. Yang-Ji Apple looked like this one with my rookie eye. It looked like some were made with paph philippinense var. roebelinii that had more twisting petals. Is paph anitum a species now?

Yes, the RHS now considers Paph. anitum as a separate species, although if it was up to me I would still consider it as a variety of Paph. aductum.

Beautiful -- I was attracted to the light/dark contrasts.

We have that fuzzy stuff flying around here also. The other day, the ground was so white with it it looked like snow.

i think they only consider it a species for breeding/hybrid purposes, but own its own they consider it a variety of adductum, as it should be. i believe the same is for leucochilums.. correct me if im wrong. also that could be just an addicted philip. i have seen some fairly dark ones come out with straight adductum and all the ones ive seen where anitum was used were VERY dark.
