First bloom for it, out of flask 2007 or 2008 (don't remember) and it will probably be the best one (fast growing, massive spike, very nice flowers). Very happy with it!!! :rollhappy:

Well done Paul! It's really nice!
SO we can expect the other ones?
Please give us your cultural tips!

Emmanuel

Thank you.
I find that it does best under warm and humid conditions, average shade, and soil should be ever wet. Here I use perlite + shoped fern roots. Quite low fertilizing because the soil keeps nutrients very well.
No problem as long as it is watered enough AND if you have the luck to get good plants...

Do you mean "... soil should not be never kept wet. Here I use perlite + chopped treefern roots."

Magnificent Paul:clap::clap:

Has live moss started in any of your pots with these? Can you give us a family pic with some of the flask mates so we can see some of the growth variation?

So glad to see this species and this variety. Once anitum came around I feel like adductum was forgot. But it is just a beautiful. My favorite multi. I could never have enough of them. Just can't find them. You have a great plant. Please try to make species seedlings at some point. This species needs all the help it can get to stay around especially from people that can grow them well.

Yes, always keep wet!!!

It is hard to get the medium right in such a wet condition without the medium rotting out quickly. I recently got a baby adductum and planted in fine bark with charcoal. The medium stayed so wet it lost all of its roots and I had to repot it in large perlite, treefern with a bit of hydroton. So far it putting out 2 new roots. A very fussy plant!
