Thank you to share your beautiful and very interesting pictures. If I have well observed the plants you shows us it appears to me that they have only one growth per plant. Is this usual ?

It is normal now because this species is over exploited so they no longer have big plants or big population

Also my thought. Almost doesn't look like the same species as the 2nd photo.The first one has unusual leaf markings.
