Paphiopedilum Wössner Helene

Paphiopedilum Wössner Helene (Paphiopedilum helenae x charlesworthii). The strong dominance of charlesworthii in the shape and color of the staminodium, but also the dominance of helenae in the shape of the flower and reducing the size of the plant, can be seen in this hybrid. Flowers size is intermediate between both species.

I particularly like this clon, as the dorsal petal has a lot of white. In most plants of this cross I have seen, the dorsal has not much white...

I like the color and love that great looking staminode with the green dot. It reminds me of something out of a movie. Like War of the Worlds.
