bellatulum x michranthum - from Schwerter last year.

Not 100% symetric but really a beuty:rollhappy:

First 3 pictures taken in morning sun and then 2 pictures where it stands now in our kitchen looking a bit sad.

The flower is about 8x9 cm (w/h)

That one should open up a bit more, I remember when a nursery here was closing down a few years ago that this hybrid was recommended to me and I bought a few. They are still yet to flower but I think yours shows the promise of great colour. Can't wait!!!

Now the flower is fully emerged and the size is 10x10 cm.
Its a clody day here. Pics taken with tripod, 2.5 sec and f20.
Nikon D300, AF-S Nikkor 16-85mm.
I am to lazy today after plenty of wine yesterday so I did not bother to switch to an even sharper optic

Jean - it was red - Perquita Reserva - pretty good from Portugal
