Phal Pylo's Sweet Orange
(Katie Morris 'Peter Lin' X Yungho Gelb Canary 'Joseph Wu')
This is a hybrid I offered in 2008 as flasks. I made this hybrid to have fragrant art-shade colored flowers. Both parents are fragrant - so this hybrid is fragrant. Phalaenopsis Katie Morris has an AQ/AOS tall spike, wide range of colors. I pair it with Yungho Gelb Canary to reduce the flower spikes so the plants grow better under light and easier to ship.
It took a while but we are starting to see mature plants flowering. To date there are 7 AOS awards - 5 awarded last weekend at SWROGA in Tyler, Texas. 2 were awarded weeks before at Dallas Judging Center. All 7 plants exhibited are the Brandenburgs - AOS judges.

2 from the display got HCC/AOS - and 3 were brought in and judged separately. I was at my sale booth so I did not get to see the awarded plants yet.
