Phalaenopsis violacea indigo ‘Moncks Corner’

Surreal color! NS 4.5 cm.

I did a talk on them, the legend, history, genetics and breeding potential of the indigos. Maybe some of you heard it?

It would it get as big as a violacea. So medium?

Beautiful color . The stamen and lip looks like a female with yellow legs on a surf board! LOL

ROTFL@Greenpaph. I see that! I have a violacea cross by Norman's Orchids from
several years ago that is blooming for the first time. It has slightly lighter petals and
a very dark blue lip. The flowers are somewhat smallish, but very pretty.
