Yay besseae hybrids! Hopefully some will lighten up from the yellow parent. Thanks for sharing.

I think it's wonderful as it is. The fenestrations and the jewelry around the top of the pouch is rather fine.

Thanks, Eric and Angela. This is its 3d year of blooming. It’s not the most vigorous grower, but this year it’ll have 2 blooms at least, instead of just one.
I’ve got a couple of besseae flavacolor seedlings to satisfy the longing for yellow.

Good luck. At least besseae flavum are more vigorous then reds, IMHO.
