I didnt get to much back ground info,besides it came out of the Orchid Zone years ago.

I agree with Rick. I had one from Zephyrus that turned out to be Calurum. I finally got a real Albopurpureum, and it is quite different.

That said, this is beautiful -- it looks like satin.

It's gorgeous!!! But, it's not Albopurpureum. It's likely Calurum. There's a LOT of Calurum out there masquerading at Albopurpureum.

This is Calurum.
Woodstream has them and previously was selling Calurum v. Candidum, a lighter/softer colored version.
