This is a plant I acquired earlier this year from a friend of mine. It had previously flowered so this is the first flowering for me. I repotted it before it came in to spike but even though the plant has settled in well and has produced a further growth, it still has only produced one flower. I am though, very pleased with the result, especially the pouch, and the flatness of the petals. The flower is growing daily as it's only been open a day or so and measures roughly 5 inches across. Hopefully further blooms will see more flowers as the plant grows and strengthens. I acquired a Fritz Schomburg, Allison Strohm and Peruflora's Saltimbanco all of which are producing new growths. The Fritz Schomburg has 2 spikes and is budding up nicely so looking forward to these aswell.

Very nice!!! I love the differing colour of the dorsal compared to the rest of the flower...:)

I bought one of those NBS a couple of years back. It's growing slowly, Still hoping for flowers someday. This one is nice and could get better in time.

I'm sure it will Sue. I just need to get it in to my own feeding regime and in another 12 months or so I'm sure I'll find out!
