Bloom is 14.5 cm (5.7 inches) and has been open for 6 days. There are two spikes this year. The first bud on the second spike is to the lower left of the bloom. It will probably be a couple of weeks before it opens.

Same thing on OrchidWiz. I have one that's been growing for a couple of years and is starting a new growth. But no flower yet. How big is your plant?

It bloomed last year as a single growth plant. The plant itself is a mid sized plant, larger than my Jason Fischer and smaller than Wossner Supergrande. It made two new leads this year both of which will be in bloom in a couple of weeks. All in all, it seems to be very vigorous.

Hello Olaf,

I hope you are doing well.

I'm taking a quick photo each day to show how kovachii hybrids change over time. I'll measure it every couple of days also. Its seems it is continuing to grow. I'll update tomorrow.
