The underlying blue tones in this flower are enchanting.
You certainly scored big time to give that lady more room.

Angela, I'm going to have to check to see if those blue tones are a product of the shooting, possibly some exceptional blue sky being reflected. I didn't see those blue tones with my (naked) eye. But I'll look again bearing your comment in mind. Intriguing!

Don, I looked closely at the photos again and the blue
is still there on my monitor. In the top photo, it shows
along the edges of the petals. Second photo it shows along
the sides of the lovely pouch. Could be a reflection...could be my monitor. Whatever it is, it's really niiiiiiice.

I see the blue in the photos too Angela, but it isn't really there in the bloom itself. Sorry! Somehow a creation of the ambient light that day.

Oh my, don't be sorry. It's lovely. I did notice the blue
is much more pronounced in the photo on OSF. It might not be perfectly true to the flower, but the photo effect
is extremely nice.
