I'd have to agree with Eric, is this a 1st time blooming? The color is great & it's a well balanced flower that should only get better! :clap::clap:

Very nice dorsal and what a long petals too...
Do you have the parentage of the besseae on the tag?
Or the source of it?

I'm wondering what Phrag. Gronez should looking like (sargentianum x dallessandroï)....
 
Maybe because the petals and dorsal are more pointy than the normal M.D.C.?

The patel stance is off, also the texture looks glossier and less hairy than most Mem. Dick Clements, also the color is strange. :0
IMO, yes the petals are more pointy than a normal MDC but the shape of the pouch isn't right either........
which makes the whole shape of the flower not right for MDC.
The color isn't as off to me but otherwise Eric makes some good points too.
So what is it? I have no idea! BUT it is a nice blooming whatever it is!
