I got this plant in 2007 as a select plant from the Orchid Zone. Shortly after getting it, I repotted it and it sulked for about a year and nearly died. This is actually the first time it's bloomed since i repotted it in 2007. Not the best blooming, but it's a start. It was also smooshed into the corner and the spike actually developed sideways.

What is "bad" with that flower?

I don't think it's bad at all, just not as good as it bloomed when i first got it, but that's because the plant took quite a hit. There are some colour breaks in it, lighter splotches throughout.

i'm glad the plant made it. it can sometimes be an anxiety-inducing hobby to grow selected plants esp. divisions that have to be re-established.

nice plant btw! the lemon color is awesome.

Decent shape for a flavum. Possibly worth pulling it out of the corner and put it in the spotlight.
