Second re-blooming for me. :D From J-P Faust.

My Wings of Gold had a hard time in last summer heat. The original flowering growth died but two new ones came up and are growing well.

Lovely! I've got a couple flavums too. Only one has bloomed so far and it produced just one flower the first time and 3 the second time. However, my regular orange besseae's produce 9 to 12 flowers per stem. So, I do agree that var. flavum is a bit more delicate.

Gorgeous! That is yellow!

It seems to be a very good plant (at least to my neophyte eyes! I wonder if I can say that in English:confused:).

Phrag besseae flavum is not very easy to grow, is it?

No! It is not more difficult than the red one... I grow mine side by side with the red one in the same medium wathering them at the same schedule without any problems.

...hmmmm ....... that makes sense! I can't grow the red one, let alone the yellow one! and yet the hybrids on a whole do pretty well for me. Last summer's heat did a hit on most of my phrags too.
