The flower has some colour breaks this time which is not normal for it. Maybe the warm temperatures in the greenhouse lately.

:clap: :drool::drool: :clap: OHHH NICE!
In this case I don't think the color breaks are distracting, they go with the pouch!

Are they color breaks? Or extensions of the windows?
Good point Dot - what's the difference? I really don't consider them to be color breaks, but I'm not a judge & I'm sure there's a definition for a color break. Is it subjective, in the eye of the beholder?

Dot,

The colour breaks I'm referring to are the marks that are not symmetrical on or near the centre of the petals. Looking at the photo, the one which is most apparent on the left flower is on the left petal nearer the tip than the centre. On the right flower there is a mark on the centre line of the right petal.

I agree about the other marks in the centre. I do find the yellow cast to the centre of the flower quite attractive.

Ah -- I get those lines on my besseae sometimes. Not on every flower or every time. It is puzzling as to what the cause is.
