Hello, my first post here in this forum.

I bought this from a lady in England last month who needed more room in her greenhouse. Delighted to have it, never seen one in bloom before. This photo was taken today, about 3 weeks after the first bloom opened and 2 days after the 2nd one.

Don, you have to use a third party to upload photos...Image Shack and the like. There's a tutorial for
uploading on the first page I think. Glad to see you here
and I know everyone will be delighted to see the "enigma" and the China Dragon that bloomed for 99 days. I'd love to see them again myself. Welcome!

Dot, the China Dragon Don has bloomed for 99 days...the
same bloom lasted that long and it's beautiful. It also
became locally famous on the Isle of Gigha off the coast
of Scotland where he lives. He grows lovely orchids!
Everyone on orchid source forum watched the progress of
the China Dragon over that very long, unexpected length
of a bloom.

wow, that is very long bloom. I have a China Dragon and I hope that it will bloom as it is a big mature plant. Glad to see that the blooms can last quite long.

99 days must be exceptional though. Do you know what condition they were kept in? temperature? humidity?

I hope Don can find the time to post photos. I have no
idea of his growing conditions, but that China Dragon is a phenom.

Somebody here (like Dot) could pm or email him the best way to
post a photo here.

To post a photo it is best to have it hosted on the net first, then simply copy and paste the link in this forum. I use www.photobucket.com as it is free and convenient.
