I use water from our pond -- brought into the basement, warmed and pumped into the greenhouse. It's not real clean, even though it is filtered, plus it is high in calcium. The spotting is a combination of calcium and the very fine particulate matter. Doesn't look good, but the plants all seem quite happy with it.Yay besseae hybrids! The name is because of the rippled petals. Is your water that hard or are the spots on the foliage from fertilizers?
