Second flowering of this phrag. The first flowering produced only one flower at a time. This has one spike 2 open flowers, one just beginning to open and a forth bud developing. I doubt, very much, that the one spike, of this hybrid, will hold 4 flowers at the same time.

Looks good Ed. Mine is just opening a bud right now but I think those thrips must have nibbled at it before I (hopefully) removed them all as it's got some rather deep grooves in the top. Be interesting to see how it develops over the coming days...
 
Thanks Ed. The reason I asked is that I was given a weak division last autumn. It currently does not look quite as strong as your plant, but it looks to be about blooming size growth wise.

Just make sure you are giving the plant enough calcium. If you can get pure calcium nitrate the calcium from this is readily used by the plant which also enables it to take up nutrients. I use this on all my plants and get multiple growths on all my slippers. I stop using this in the fall and switch to phosphates.to promote next years blooming. I don't know why I have added this but it may be useful yo some folk!!!.
