Phrag. hirtzii x Grande.

This plant was registered by J.P. Faust. I should ask him why he came up with that name, if it's not too personal? :p

The reason is simple Michel, this cross was originally made by Fritz Schomburg many years ago not registered and forgotten.

To facilitate some of my further registrations I decide to follow the registration modus operandi and registered it as ‘’Deliverance ‘’ because I felt like I’d rescue this beautiful cross from the unknown…

Merci Jean-Pierre. I will post another photo in a week or so. The petals have grown longer but I'm waiting for my Giganteum flowers to reach maximum size and I'll photograph them together. I'm really happy you registered Deliverance. It was well worth it. :)

Could he be a fan of Appalachian hillbillies,or Ned Beatty tied naked to a tree?

I know Fritz, it is his sense of humor. One of his registrations was Phrag After-Glo, and he was thinking about the post coital "lingering in the detumescence". For another look at the parents of Phrag Prince Albert (Mem. Dick Clemments x richteri), the clone of richterii he used was awarded before the species richterii had been described, it was pearcei 'Birchwood', which is a nice richterii. Put parts of the parents names together and Prince Albert is one logical outcome.

There is 'blue humor' in orchids.

Sooooeeee! Squeal like a pig!

I haven't seen the movie in ages, but I have people in the part of Baltimore I live in that are a perfect fit for the hillbillies in the movie.

I like the color contrast. The green is a bright green which I haven't seen much.
