VERY interesting. Those plants sure do look very happy! So, am I correct in assuming that the containers have a drainage hole or two about an inch above the bottom, creating a water reservoir in the very bottom?
 
Yes John. Check out the mustard container you will even see one root has existed the pot through the hole!
