Nothing special, but it's about the only thing blooming for me right now, so I thought I'd share.
 
Aww it looks sad. I have a Cape Sunset spiking now, the only thing that will be in bloom. Dreary summer days... Maybe you could send me yours and they could keep each other company...
 
I wonder about the origin of the red coloration...
I would like to see the cross: besseae flavum x longifolium album...

I actually don't recall the parents, but this was from a Chuck Acker flask circa 2004 or 2005, if memory serves correct. A buddy split the flasklings with me, and I sold most of my split online since they were all the rage back then.

I kept this one because of the amount of color. Most of the rest had less pink, but also the yellow was much more subdued. This one was also the most vigorous grower and bloomed more frequently than the others. Also, as Dot pointed out, it had those distinct horizontal petal stripes that really won me over.
