One of my favorite phrags. Petals shorter than last year.

It must have taken me half an hour to remove all the tiny little cat hairs dangling from the flowers.

My greenhouse is for cold growing plants in winter and my cats don't go there. Everything is either outside in summer or in my plant room inside the house. And the two cats go where I go. They have been tought not to touch the plants but the hairs go everywhere.

Yes it does. Louis gaucher is sargentianum x lindenii and Geralda is caudatum x lindleyanum. Phrag lindenii is considered a variety of caudatum and sargentianum is related to lindleyanum. The only difference I can see in the photos I have of both hybrids is in the spotting inside the lip which appears much darker in Geralda. Good observation Rick. :)

Nice! Very different from last year!

Yes! Petals shorter and generally more yellow in the flower this year. But we had a remarkably hot and sunny summer this year compared to last year. And this time, the picture was taken inside, I think a little too close to the more powerful lights I have installed lately. :)
