So I got this Phrag from someone who had it for several years and it didn't bloom for him. I got it in 2010 or 2011, and it now is blooming. The person I got it thinks it may be "Neville," but the tag just has Nitidissimum. Thoughts?

It's a very nice plant and flower! However, if you can't trace it's history back to the actual Neville clone, then you can't give it that name. There are other Nitidissimums out there. There must also be 'Neville' x self too. You have no way of knowing if it's a division, a seedling; or completely unrelated. Unfortunately, to put the clonal name 'Neville' on it now would be blatantly dishonest. If the name label only says Nitidissimum and there is no clonal name, then, you can only assume that it is a genetically unique clone and not related to Neville.

You need to do a little more investigation, ask the one you got it from where they got it from. Maybe that person can shed more light on the subject.
