Very nice Russel, a nice honor.

I really like the large amount of red in hybrids with the sargentianum, lindleyanum & kaiteurum group. With 1/4 sargentianum on one side and 1/4 besseae on the other, the red colors are spread all around the flower. Of course the 1/4 longifolium on both sides is good, but longifolium tends to dominate for browns and greens unless the other parents knock out the green. This type of breeding is excellent. Very nice to have this cross named for you, it could go on to be a cornerstone hybrid in the next generations of complex Phrag crosses.
