This plant has always bloomed with decent flowers for several years now.
(sorry about the flash)

but on this newest spike this poped out!

WOW that is freakie!
The Illinois Orchid Society is having is 60th Anniversary next year & I've suggested an Ooops Class/Display, I'd love to get blooms like this!

Wow is the word! It's mesmerizing.

I think an Oops Class/Display is a brilliant idea! It would be lovely to see what nature gets up to (and people usually hide in embarassment)

Now, I've gotten a special request to post a picture of the plant that carries such an odd flower. Here it is and it ain't NO seedling! BTW, The bench is 4feet long.
(P.S. I had to play with the bight settings too much light coming in over head)

Being weird is still better then being normal or average
