Hi

I got this hybrid from a friend at a bargin price of 7pounds as well as few more phrags and other orchids think the total cost was something like 45pounds for about 8 plants. I am giving a it a bit of TLC.

The plant orginally came from Ratcliffe

Know this as you can see is growing vertactly now How to you guys accomidate this types of phrags. I am drawn to may wirering it back into the pot so it can grow more roots. It is also sending new shoots from under the rock wool. I have thought about, using a moss pole but the pole i have are far to big. Yet is this going to make it a nightmar to repot afterwards.

Any ideas?

Wrap the base of the plant, where it is showing root stubs, with sphagnum moss and keep it moist. The roots should grow into the moss. When it does, you can pot the plant deeper. By that time the new growths should be big enough to be buried a little deeper.
