I like it, this flower does not show many of the flaws so common in 4N Phrags. No jagged teeth, nice smooth color. This one is a keeper.

I think the teeth come more from the breeding line than the ploidy. Like I have some phrags where the leaves dont open up and grow as tubes. I bet if I trace the parents I would find one Pain in the butt plant w/ the same trait!

Yay besseae hybrids! If that plant is where Jason is I'm applauding the effort to grow it!

This is the third flower on the spike. The first flower has a little teeth on the upper left petals but the second, third and fourth did not have it. I almost got rid of it when I saw the first flower. it no has a nice fat seed pod on it. Cross it with a 4N awarded Sorcerer's Apprentice.
