Sorry about sideways!! I took the picture upright, I was having serious posting problems with tapatalk

I love the long petaled phrags! Nice phrag! :)

Wallisii!? Are trying to get a battle started!? :p

The name changes and slight differences in spelling hurt my head..

How come you haven't corrected me when I've posted about my phrag schlimii x wallisii and my new phrag Chuck Acker (Eric Young x wallisii). :rollhappy: .. Oops. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

Tag says wallisii I also have a caudatum and a warsciwizianum 3 plants all different tags, some day they will all bloom, I am going to compare the huge difference lol...

Troy wallisii is not correct... never was. You can change the name in the label or keep it as is but your plant should be named warszewiczianum. Probably the other one that you have labelled as warszewiczianum is the same species but it could be also popowii... if you have a picture we can indentify it.

First thing, why is " wallisii" never correct? My tag says wallisii "pathfinder" the name would have never come to be if was never right? My caudatum "windy hill" and warsciwiscizianum with also a majestic tresses from marilyn ledoux is on it's way. I am going to bloom these and compare

The link I posted says that the name changed from caudatum var. wallisii to wallisii in 1993, to wallisii in 1998, to caudatum var. wallisii in 2003, and then to warszewicsianum in 2004.

*I have no idea if it's correct, but it's what I've been using to help me with the names of popowii and warszewiczianum.
