One of our stud plants of Phrag. warszewiczianum (some of you may know it as wallisii) opened with 2 spikes with 5 flowers per spike! (2 are still in bud).

What the hell does this mean!? Not wallisii anymore?? [another victim of taxologists' syndrome!] :poke:

Why don't you just send this to me so I don't have to call!? :p
What size pot is that? Where am I going to fit it!?

It should have been Phrag. warszewiczianum since the first time it was described. Over the years people just started to give it the wrong name of Phrag. wallisii as Reichenbach described the same species twice (first as warszewicaianum, 20 years later as wallisii).

   A PERFECT TEN alright! :smitten::smitten:

I love how pale it is! Possibly my favourite species esp after seeing all these blooms!

That is sweet Robert.

Do you have any history on the parentage of this plant?

My first warscze was good about having a high flower count. I got it from Andy's and it had no source or parentage info on it. Unfortunately, I ending up loosing it to Erwinia before breeding it. All the warscze's I've come across since then haven't put out like this (although the flowers are often bigger).

Can you save some pollen off this plant for me?

What I like about this clone is the pale pouch -- almost white. Have you thought of using it to get a long-petaled white? Maybe with pearcei??? If you do, I'm on the list of "I want one!"

That's a lovely plant with a terrific flower count.
Mine is spiking for the first time so I'm looking foreward to seeing these flowers very soon personally.
Best regards from Germany, rudolf
