I'm guessing this bloom is on the older side. We don't get to see many true PK's. Seems like all you ever see is hybrids. I'd like to see more PK species orchids. Thanks Hakone.

Seems like it had blooming issues for the first time. The pouch looks on the small size for the rest of the flower. Maybe heat stress on this blooming kept the pouch from expanding.

Goiod luck! It will be maybe the most expensive orchid in all. I think with spreading of selfig chance for getting an album form increases exonentially. In nature I think it does not exists.

I'd settle for any PK that doesn't cost over $100. PK species are still too high in the U.S. and I'm guessing that's why you don't see a lot of them. I have about 8 hybrids but no specie.
