This one is from South Bahia state.
They occurs over basalt+arenite mountains, like the montains in Venezuela, in fact Geomorfological structure of the two places are the same, we believe that in cretacean period amazon bacim started to form and made the Pre-Cambriam shield( very old montains) move South making first islands and after geociclinal that formed Andean montains feel the amazon bacin. Same places are where P. sargentianum occurs in northeast Brazil. I little confuse I guess but it has to do with continental derive!
