I got it to bloom when my room temperature is cool intermediate. The bloom can actually last for 3 weeks instead the 7+ days for sequentials.
As well QF Maria has a compact foliage form smaller by a third of standard size.

I have measured temps on my window sill at 43 deg latitude Niagara Falls area and have been as high as 32C and at night 15c.. using tray method,and it just keeps getting better as it matures..maximum leaf height 10 inches -22 cm

My room now is between 15c to 23c. Once temp rises to 26+c the bloom drops suddenly
 
Mine is in bloom right now,and it is cooler(being winter) so it likes blooming in south American fall.Tray growing does give it more moisture as needed...I always have it standing in Water

That original plant double in size. Relatively I can say still a compact plant.

mine is pretty much the same...at least the genetics are .
The plant next to is also a QF Maria n bloom is a lot smaller n plant remained small. Half of the bigger plant
