I received my order from Glen this afternoon...a schlimii and a Randy
McDonald. Both plants are beautiful and so well packed that the potting
medium was perfectly in place. I'm very impressed. I'll be doing
more business with his business! I also traded a Paph. lowii for a Phrag.
Cape Sunset that is huge and has a spike...gorgeous plant. Thank you,
Adam D. After seeing what really well-grown Phrags. look like, I'm considering composting the three beat-up bessae I have and never looking
back.

Keep trying with those besseae. They can be difficult but hopefully you will learn a lot trying to keep them alive.

No problem, hope it likes you better than me. I love the lowii, got it potted up and looking good! Great trade.

Well Eric, what Paphs.? Did you have a good time in Montreal and eat lotsa
goooood food?

Everyone is right about learning from the beat-up bessae and new growth is
coming in clear of damage, but they look sooo pitiful next to Glen and Adam's beautiful plants. I noticed that my bessae have a lighter leaf
color, so perhaps they're getting too much light. That area of the greenhouse is slightly brighter than the Phal. bench...hmmmm.
