Very cool Rick, and carrying your morning coffee with you the whole time:clap::clap:

Is the sump where you feed the Mg?

My son wants to come over and play on your playground. :)

I thought the music was the Beastie Boys at first. :)

Nice system.

My rainwater collection for the bog is much simpler than Rick's-
A FREEBIE - my hubby was in the right place at the right time! This was someone's homemade filter for their pond, they were changing/updating, just get rid of it! 150 gallons!

Nice!

We have a 55 gallon barrel and a 35 gallon trash can on two different downspouts. It's actually very unusual for folks to have gutters in FL. We're one of the few in the neighborhood. Most live with a patch of bare sand a couple feet from their foundation where the runoff prevents grass from growing.

Our downspout spits out on top of the window screen so leaves and shingle bits don't get mixed in the water.

You're welcome Justin. Nice setup too Rose. Ernie, I use to do the same thing, rain splatter onto 2 layers of 70% shade cloth(keep out sketters) but I needed the cloth! I have a screening device at the top of the down spout now.
I've also replaced the 450 gal tank with a solid "domed" black, plastic tank capable of holding 550 gal. Unfortunely it hasn't rained since Feb here:mad: One note: After 10 years of service the galanized tank finally gave out!
I also diverted the the "run off" from my A/C unit from the sewer piping in the attic to an extended piece of PVC out my sofet of the house into my tank, collecting basiclly "distilled water"

Great planning! Our two rain collectors don't go to my g.h. :< Hubby will use it for the garden. I didn't get lucky and get a freebie collector like Rose, but we did get two large collectors that were priced incorrectly at Home Depot:> The minute we got them the employee ran back to change the pricing! We're metered here, so any little bit helps our pocket and the environment just a little.

Love the video.
