Rogue One (may have spoilers)

What do people think? I thought it did a good job linking the back story to the original...nothing really complicated about the film...liked the many different planets...so many elements of it like a sci fi film from the fifties...especially the really huge data base center, with the really big satellite dish that sticks out like a sore thumb

I thought it was a great story with a great group of throw away characters. Much in the way I thought they would they borrowed some from Canon and made some up. It was cool to see a younger(ish?) Tarkin. It was creepy to see someone else play Leia.

I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars, but I have seen them all. It is one of those movies that I enjoy watching in December.

Leia was CGI, and not that well done. Tarkin was ALL CGI - he's been dead 20+yrs.
I thought it a little slow to start, then really got going. Darth coming out slashing and burning at the end was a real highlight. It perfectly dove-tailed into Episode IV.

that ending was pretty badass
