Some more roses!

This Gertrude Jekyll, a David Austin rose. It has a stunning scent, very intense.

I've actually lost my record of which one this is. It's a white hybrid tea and I'm guessing it's Pascali or maybe JFK... Sorry the first picture shows the bloom this morning a bit past its prime, the second shot is a nicer picture of blooms from middle of last year (in winter in fact).

I don't think the white one is Pascali. I used to have it in my garden at my former home. It looked different than your photo. My guess is JFK. They're both lovely, by the way. :)

Nice. I don't see any snow on the ground!

Thanks :D Yup, that's our typical winter, though I don't normally get that many blooms in winter. I think it was a warm spell and they were pruned early.

Thanks, I was starting to think it might be JFK too. I wrote them all down years ago, where's that piece of paper?! :p

Both are very beautiful! Thanks for the winter rose fix.

You're welcome! I just wish I could waft the scent from the Gertrude Jekyll over to everyone :) It's a classic old rose type of scent and apparently it's so strong that's it been used in extracting attar of roses for perfume making, not sure whether that is just a myth or not though.
